Euros?

This guy was over our heads yesterday.  Most spectacular!!!  Could it possibly have been Euros?  It was an amazing picture of beauty.  No snapseed or instagram needed.  Can you see him?

Strange

It has been raining here in TN for the last week.  A very welcome reprieve from the constant sun and scorching heat here.  I am loving every single minute of it.  However, this struck me as strange yesterday when I spotted it from my car in the wine store parking lot.  What's going on?   Now I'm seeing yellow and orange leaves everywhere!  It's July!  Well, it made me fast forward to November here and I went straight home to make a big pot of chilli (and crack open the wine)!  Loving life this week :)

Today ...

is my birthday and we're headed to the beach!  Here is the card Dave made me.  We are not allowed to buy cards for each other any more.  It's our new rule and I love it!  Hope you enjoy your day as much as I will on a raft in the ocean =)

Vanity Kit

It's a good thing they have one of these at the hotel I'm staying in for the next few days....because this is what is packed in my suit case :)

Yes, I actually brought my sewing machine and all the necessary materials and supplies on this trip.  Crazy, yes.  But what the heck else would I do in this 100 plus degree weather??  Lay at the pool?  Well, so far I have spent the entire morning on my lap top and ipad working on my etsy shop banner.  It had to be done.  Baby steps.  Speaking of baby, the blue material in the pic below is baby diaper water proof lining!  How cool is that.  There wasn't anything like that 21 years ago when I wanted it!  I've used this for lining my toiletry bag.  Hope you are staying cool where ever you are.  And yes, that is my under wear under the tape measure kit!!  See ya!

Staying Cool

Staying cool here in Nashville.  Dave played the new Puckett's Boat House in Franklin last night.  What a blast!  The food was awesome, as to be expected from such establishment.  If you are ever in the Nashville area, Pucketts should be at the top of your list to visit!  We all had a great time and I met some new friends, one of whom encouraged me to check out the Williamson County Art Commission as an avenue for my art/bags.  Well I did and it looks like an awesome way to get involved in the art community here.  Soo very excited, and I have a lot to do!  Well, until next time....Cheers!

So it's been seven months or so since my last post.....been a little busy I suppose ;)  But here I am today, and this is whats for dinner!!  Mmmmmm....  It smells amazing!  Got the recipe from Ina Garten on the Food Network channel.  It's her lemon chicken recipe, comes complete with a video so you can't go wrong!  Yum yum yum....
