Crazy Busy!!

Crazy busy over here!  In LOVE with my two new babies!  Have been sewing all week.  Getting ready to show some of my bags at the next Franklin Art Scene on Dec 6th.  I am so honored to be a featured artist at the Franklin Visitors Center for this event.

My parents are here supporting me with all kinds of help.  He he he…..jk, the rents and hub are shown here completely exhausted from prepping for our Thanksgiving holiday coming up!

We are having fourteen people for Thanksgiving dinner here!  I can not wait for all my family to get here!  Got the tree up last night!  Some of our favorite ornaments.

In the mean time, I've just learned that I have to submit an article for another of my bags to be featured in Haute Handbags Spring edition.  Woop woop!  Well, a glass of wine is calling my name and I can hear Elf in the other room!  Gotta run, hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I for one am extremely thankful!  Life is good :)

Leather Love

This one took me ten hours from start to finish.  Worth every single second.  I love how it turned out.

There is a cell phone pocket on the back side as well.  I really must learn some photography skills next. Have a fabulous rest of the week!

Midnight Oil!

I made a suitcase!  Didn't know it was going to be a suitcase, lol, but that is what it turned out to be.  A while back I joined an online sewing group with Suede Says (he was on Project Runway, Season 5  I know, how cool is that!).  It was to make his bag from his Simplicity Pattern 0109, Keep A Child Alive.  If you are interested you can get it over here for a $1.00!  5% of sales benefit Keep a Child Alive.  It took me two days to make mine, two whole days in my pj's.  A labor of love for my hubby.  He seems to like it, at least well enough to model it for me.  Bonus, I finished it in time to enter it into Sew Sweetness: Purse Palooza 2013!  Well, looks like my job here is done for now.  Looking forward to creating something new tomorrow!
